Nancy Friedman Customer Service Keynote Speakerby

I am pleased to announce that speaker Nancy Friedman, thanks to the rave reviews she received for her presentation at a SHOT Show University several years ago, will be kicking off our 2017 SHOT Show University. A noted customer experience expert, Nancy first worked with us as a speaker at the SHOT Show in 2013. During her presentation, she brought us a lot of great sales and customer service tips that were very well received by the audience. However, she had no personal firearms experience. Since then, Friedman’s involvement with firearms is one that’s traversed from “No guns, please” to that of avid enthusiast, a passion she shares with her husband, Dick. In fact, she’s now such a fan that she’s earned the nickname “Nancy Oakley.”

Friedman has appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows over the years. The author of nine books on communications, sales and customer service, she energizes, inspires and motivates her audiences with tips, ideas, skills, and techniques that many find they use immediately in their day-to-day business plans. She is noted for her common sense and down-to-earth actionable materials, which we think everyone who attends the 2017 SHOT Show University will appreciate, when she delivers her presentation “Seven Traits of Successful Leadership” as the opening seminar to the day’s full lineup of classes.

The 2017 SHOT Show will be held January 17-20 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The annual SHOT Show University, a full-day educational experience traditionally geared toward firearms retailers but now designed with a roster of speakers who also address topics and trends of interest to firearms range operators and manufacturers, takes place the day before the show begins, Monday, January 16.
